The news going around about Santos rejecting a bid of £38 million for Neymar on the last day of the transfer window by Manchester United is a false rumor. Both Manchester United and Santos have come out to refute the statement.

Santos football director Felipe Faro told Globo Esporte that he did not know where the rumor came from.

It can be recalled that there has been a lot of speculations regarding Neymar’s future. Both Real Madrid and Barcelona have been reported to have agreed to a transfer deal with Santos for the Brazilian striker at different times in the last few seasons. 

Neymar will definitely go to play in Europe someday, however, he is still playing in Brazil for Santos for now.
