Falconets Lose To Japan

Two goals from Yoko Tanaka and Asuka Nishikawa from each half of the encounter gave hosts Japan victory over the Falconets of Nigeria in the third place match played today at the Tokyo National Stadium.

Goal from Oparanozie in the 73^rd minute gave Nigerian Falconet hope of overturning yhe game. However this could not be as the Japanese defense where able to hold off the heat from the Nigerian side at the later part of the encounter, keeping the score line at 2-1 till the end of the game.

Nigeria is the first African country to make it to the final of the fifa under-20 female football tournament.
