Falconets lose to US

The Nigerian under-20 female football team, the Falconets lost to the US team in the semi finals of the FIFA under-20 female world cup going on in Tokyo Japan. The match ended 2-0 in favour of the US female national team today 4^th September 2012.

 

Two goals each from Morgan Brian and Kealia Ohai in the first and second half respectively ended the quest of the Falconets to win the trophy.   

The Falconets are the first African team to reach the finals of the FIFA under-20 female world cup. Nigeria will face the loser in the second semi finals coming up later today between defending champions Germany and host Japan.The final match will be coming up on the 8^th of September at Tokyo National Stadium.
