Appeal Bakassi judgment now Senate Tells FG
Most people will agree with me if I say
there is no place like home. This is the picture been painted by the people of
Bakassi, whose land have been given to Cameroun by the International Court Of
Justice.

They are not alone in rejecting the
ceding of their dear father land to Cameroun as the Senate yesterday declared
their total rejection of the judgment of the ICJ ceding Bakassi Peninsula to Cameroun.
The Senate directed President Goodluck Jonathan to appeal the judgment
urgently. The Nigerian Bar Association are not left out as they have given the
Federal Government a seven-day ultimatum to approach the ICJ to review the
Bakassi case.
The UN charter on Human Right
clearly stated the right to self determination, my argument is that are the
people of Bakassi exempted from this right? The Federal Government should
please appeal this judgment before it expires on the 9th of October.
