Blood Flow In Ogun State
Sorrow, tears and blood filled the
air at Mobalufun junction in Odogbolu Local Government Area of Ogun State when
a truck loaded with flour rammed into a commuter bus heading to Lagos kill all
the passengers on the spot. About thirty (30) persons were feared dead in the
auto crash. The incident happened on Tuesday 11th September 2012.
According to a report in the
Vanguard, traders and some commuters standing by the road side, all were victims
of the auto crash. Some of these commuters sustained serious injuries from the
crash.
The injured according to a source are
receiving treatment at Olabisi Onabanjo University Teaching Hospital Sagamu and
General Hospital Ijebu-Ode.
As at 0800hrs on the fateful day,
officials of the Federal Road Safety Corps, the Police and the Ogun State Traffic
Compliance and Enforcement Agency (TRACE) were seen on the scene of the accident evacuating
dead bodies.
