Pete Edochie: I’m Alive

Nollywood actor Pete Edochie who was rumoured dead over the weekend made nonsense of the rumour by saying that he is alive, hale and hearty. Edochie described the rumour as the handiwork of some idle people.

Pete Edochie is currently in Enugu his hometown, for the yuletide holidays. Former President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, AGN, Segun Arinze, reacted to the rumour which went viral on social media saying “Please, all those spreading rubbish rumour that Pete Edochie died should stop that now! The man is alive in his house in Enugu enjoying his peace and holidays. His actor son Yul just confirmed this to me now” 

National President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria Ibinabo Fiberesima signed an official statement which reads that Edochie is hale and hearty, thereby urging his fans to ignore the malicious rumour.

Pete Edochie actor son, Yul Edochie in his own response on his twitter account @YulEdochie this morning said “Pete Edochie is alive. I'm surprised peeps r stil askin me questions, som r mourning my father & attaching R.I.P to his name. Its insane.” 

It could be recalled that the Nigeria Nollywood lost some prominent actors last year, among them are Pete Eneh and Enebeli Elebuwa.
