Football: Nigeria v Catalonia Showing LIVE on SS9

The football friendly match between Nigeria and Catalonia coming up today at 6pm at the Cornella-El Prat Stadium, will be carried live on SuperSport Channel 9. If you are in South Africa tune in to Channel 4 to watch the match live.

This will be the second time both teams are meeting at any level. In the first meeting, the Seleccio Catalana trashed the Super Eagles of Nigeria 5-0. The match took place at the Estadi Olimpic Lluis on December 22, 1998.

The Super Eagles coach Stephen Keshi is not seeking revenge rather the match is used as a tune up game in preparation for the African Nations Cup 2013 (AFCON) coming up later this month. He however agrees that a win for the Super Eagles will go a long way in helping to boost the confidence of the team for AFCON 2013.
