The Nigerian representatives in the ongoing FIFA U-17 women world cup in Azerbaijan, the Flamingoes crashed out of the competition yesterday losing 5-2 on penalty to France at the quarter finals.
The match ended 0:0 after extra time. However fortune smiled on France as they were able to convert all there penalty kicks while Nigeria could only convert three of their spot kicks.
Toletti, Declrcq Mbock, Bathy, Cascarino and Romanelli all converted for France while Emenayo, Ofoegbu and Biahwo scored for Nigeria and Nnodim missed Nigerias second penalty.
France qualified for the finals beating Nigeria 5-2 on penalty.
