Armless Tutor Writing With Her Toes

This armless tutor have proved that there is ability in disability, and that you can become whatever you wish or dream about irrespective of your physical disability.

May Gannon was born 24 years ago in a Mexican orphanage without arms. Today she teaches mathematics at Harding Middle School in Lakewood, Ohio. Your may be thinking how can she teach without arms. I was surprised too. She teaches and write with her toes!

 

This has been a source of inspiration for the staff and students of the school. She also drive, dress, cook, type emails and even play instruments with her feet.

One of her inspirational quotations reads, “Life has no limitations except the ones you make.” Her determination and courage is worthy of emulation.
