Fire Disaster: 5,000 Displaced in Ogun State Nigeria

It was a tragic Wednesday evening for the Kara, Isheri community in Ogun state following a fire outbreak which rendered about 5000 persons homeless and property worth millions of Naira destroyed.

From information gathered by DailyPost, the fire incident began around 6.30pm and razed all the makeshift structures, opposite the cattle market, popularly called Zaria Estate. However, no live was lost.
The fire according to a source, was caused by a resident who was cooking in one of the wooden rooms.

The fire reportedly caught one of the wooden rooms, and spread through the fuel some people stored in containers in their rooms.
