Kidnap Of A Monarch And Oil Money

The monarch of Esit Eket Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State was kidnapped in the early hours of today by armed youths numbering about 30.


The kidnap is in connection with N2.6b paid by ExxonMobil for Oil spillage. The money was paid to the four host communities which according to source the youths rejected.

Could the Kidnapped Monarch have eaten the money? Is it right for the youths to take laws into there hands and went as far as invading the monarchs palace with arms to kidnap him?
