Kaduna Refinery Shut Down For Maintenance

The Kaduna Refinery which have been operating for eight months now at 6o per cent capacity utilization have been short down By the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC). The Refinery will be short down for routine maintenance according to a report in THISDAY.

The refinery has been in operation since March 31, 2012. The short became necessary as there were leakages in some of the units which they have to repair. Aside the leakages, some of the trays in Distillation Column also collapsed.
