Win AFCON 2013 Get N 16M
Each member of the Super Eagles team to the AFCON
2013 scheduled to kickoff in January 2013 in South Africa will become N16M richer if they win the trophy they
last won in 1994 if the words from the NFF are anything to go by. Each player
is to be paid $100,000 (N16 million) each should Nigeria win the 2013 edition.
According to a report in MTNFootball.com, a top Nigeria Football Federation
(NFF) official made a disclosed that incentives will not be the Super Eagles
problem at the Nations Cup. This sum is made of the winning Bonus of $95,000 and
their daily allowance is $5,000, while the chief coach Stephen Keshi will earn
double this amount.
Here is a breakdown of their earnings
1st round bonus and daily allowance
$10,000 each for a win x 3 = $30,000
Each for Quarter final win =
$15,000
Semi final win each = $20,000
Final win =
$30,000
Daily allowance = $5,000
Total = $100,000
