Bola Tinubu: Goodluck And PDP Are Plotting APC’s Fall

The national leader of the Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, accused President Goodluck Jonathan and The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, of plotting to destabilize and kill the newly formed All Progressives Congress, APC, yesterday 20th March 2013.


The former Lagos State governor made this none through ACN’s National Publicity Secretary, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, at the commissioning of Apapa-Iganmu Local Council Development Area, LCDA, ultra-modern council secretariat, at Ijora Badia, Lagos State.


He also said that the newly-formed APC paved the way and gave President Jonathan and his team the courage to visit the violence-ravaged Borno State.

On the issue of ‘PDP sponsored APCs’ he said “We discovered that PDP is behind all the sponsored APCs that have surfaced since we formed our party”. Tinubu further said that PDP had used all forms of antics to discourage them against the party and that they would not work.

“The original APC was formed on February 6 and we no longer have six governors. They are now 11.

Ban On DANA Air Lifted

The federal government yesterday cleared Dana Airline to resume operations. This is coming ninety eight days after the airline plane crash that killed about153 persons in Lagos. According to the statement made by Mr. Joe Obi the Special Adviser (Media) to the minister of aviation, the government restored the operating license of Dana Airline as it was satisfied with the air worthiness of the airline after conducting a rigorous technical, operational and financial audit of the airline. This has generated a mixed reaction among concerned Nigerians. Some believe it is not yet time to lift the suspension, questioning the rationale behind the lifting of the ban on the airline, especially as most of the families of the people involved in the plan crash are yet to be compensated.
